Theory of perception - 2 - GOD

Note: This adaptation or application of the theory of perception has invited a lot of odd, angry and not to mention the ‘What-the-hell-is wrong–with-u!!!’ stares…not to mention the loads of death threats that go like, ‘u tell me that again and I’ll kill u!!!’…well…this post is a rebel against all the sandals and long slender ladies fingers that have hit me before and will do so when other girl friends of mine read this… (The guys don’t give a damn…except some Christian folks…and I was exaggerating about the sandals but it will soon be a reality…so I’ll let it be).
Now…even if u have understood the whole concept of perception being the very reason we see things the way we do…by manner of comparison with an existing idea or basic degree, you may find this idea or concept to be VERY rebel in nature as it questions the existing notion of god itself.
From times immemorial man has devised a concept of an omnipotent being who has created all that is living and everything else non-living and beyond. The concept I personally follow does not have any connection and in fact denounces the very institution of religion. The institution of religion today serves more of personal and private interests than the actual reason for the inception of the institution we call religion. The de facto interest of the founders of religion was to unite people under a common belief that would help to instruct and organize people in an easier way and also spread word about the omnipotent source of energy that exists in the universe. Those who created the whole idea of religion were obviously not normal beings; they were either gifted or enlightened or were of higher order…in other words…what we call aliens today were gods at a time. That idea was recently added to my thesis after having read a book of compelling and undeniable evidence – “The chariots of the Gods”.
Anyway, the idea of gods in ancient times was that of a being with powers so unbelievable and unique that he was revered…but actually the being that was being worshipped was but a representation of god…for instance, the Egyptians worshipped the sun god, Ra. Now Ra is just a concept of a being but in fact the whole idea behind Ra’s inception is the fact that the sun is the primary source of all energy and the gods supposedly came from the sun.
So, in reality the idea of Ra was in a way developed from a simple idea or concept.
Moving on to the heart of the matter, I’d like to pose a question…”Who is god??? What is his nature??? How do we know so??? And Who in order to justify this has actually seen god??? ”.
So, in reality no one has truly seen god or experienced his true nature. How then do we proclaim that god is loving and dear and professes unconditional love????? . When you take into account all the mindless violence around you in today’s world, have you ever thought to wonder what the true idea of god is??? What could be the actual professed word of god??? What could be his nature???…is evil a sign of god too???...if so, then why have the concept of a devil??? Could it be that they are both the same but simply different representations of the same being in two different states????
Now, if you simply apply the theory to this idea and suppose that god is good, then the question lies, “Then what is evil???”…the obvious answer to that would be the Devil. But then again, scrutinizing the situation more, I ask…”Is it not the same God that controls the forces of nature the one that takes lives with it???” So then I say; suppose then that our whole concept of god is wrong…suppose we idolized what we expect of others and what we want as the word of God???
Imagine, think…the holy books are filled with a lot of loopholes…literal translation of the books would give you more and more nonsensical ideas…so obviously the wise men of the past have written such that those who are worthy alone understand what is truly written. So, those who profess religion may bend the way they translate the texts. So what if the texts are just fables…those which depict a part of godly nature???…what if it is not true entirely??...after all how can we say??...experts believe the Bible has either been tampered with or something along the way has gone wrong as there are inconsistencies.
So, what if the true nature of god is truly not all Goody-goody??? What if there is evil in him too…whoever professed that god is all good and no evil anyway???
In Hinduism, the lord of destruction, Shiva has been depicted to be good to his believers and those who praise him irrespective of his nature and at the same time delivers punishments of death or curses to those who defy him or anger him.
So, if we consider the present idea of god as we know him to be wrong is it not possible than god is all powerful but not all good and no evil??
A friend of mine once told me about Jesus (No offence to Christian readers but this is an already tried example). What if Jesus was not truly who he said he was?? What if he was the so called devil who lets say is actually all good who took human form on earth to spread his word. Then wouldn’t it mean that god is not all good but evil too. Otherwise too, people speak of the devil being the master of deception…so then why not??? If u don’t agree it is because u find it hard to let go of the concept that has been taught to us from those who never thought otherwise.
Even in the institution of Satanism, he is considered to be an omnipotent being that resides as energy within us. Though, their manner of worship and induction into the order appears more sane and thoughtful. They base their religion more upon the unseen force in the universe, that which they call Dark energy rather than a figure of power. Seems rational doesn’t it??...thinking caps if u please….so then why is it not possible that we have been following the wrong path…what if we are supposed to follow violence when necessary…
Think about it….is who we believe to be god truly god???...could it not be that our ideas of right and wrong, Devil and God are wrong??...

Theory of perception -Part 1-
Heres sheddin a lil dark shadow (its not easily accepted u c) on our present idea of right and wrong, god, etc.
In today’s world it’s pretty easy for sum one to assess a situation or an action to be right or wrong, for a person to be normal or abnormal. The same goes for sum one being judged by the public; but why exactly and how is a person judged so or better yet, how is it possible for someone to be judged so???
If u have ever wondered about this and thought about the answer but haven’t come up with an answer that quite satisfied you, then this piece of writing is for you. All that is explained by a simple theory called the theory of perception.
This theory works in any situation, so much so that most of the optical illusions are also explained by this theory…only difference being that the way of explaining the phenomenon is different and it deals with a different type of perception (optical).
Anyways, the basics of this theory can be simply put by saying that nothing but nothing can be rated without being compared with anything. This means that anything can be described or compared only by keeping a model of comparison.
Take this situation for example; some one is dancing for the first time. Now, if someone were to comment on him it is understood that he is making the comment by comparing the person with someone. Otherwise there wouldn’t be a comparison to be made.
Similarly for the optical illusions, we see the odd illusions because or eyes focus o one part of the picture and not on the other half. In some others movement is perceived because the eyes keep shifting the point of focus from one part of the picture to another, leading to an illusion of movement.
Now if u have got the have got the hang of the theory and thinking in using its principles…and you think I’m crazy I suggest u please read the theory again…coz your just comparing me to what u think but u find hard to change your point of view…heck I’m sane but you’re the one with a mental block!!!! Anyway, now comes my point of view…understand the theory and read it once more once more before thinking of what comes next.
If it is to be that people seem different to us because we simply compare them to a basic person we hold as a basis of comparison, it only means that the person is very much normal, all that matters is our comparison. To put it simpler, imagine a person of your exact same height, when u are referring to the height of the two of you say that your both the same height but u cannot make a comparison that makes one of u any shorter or taller. That is to say, if your point of comparison is the same as that which u are comparing there is no abnormality. So if we were to hold no comparison and take anyone as the way they are then there is no oddity perceived in a crowd…everyone is normal.
Now to turn the plates it’s easier to say that the person who thinks you are weird or different is the one who’s taking the wrong side…he’s got weird comparisons!!!!!
So why worry??? Your sane…. he’s the one who’s got issues!!!! ;)
The next posts may not be in favour of a lot of peoples viewpoints so if u plan of givin me death threats r sumn...id like u to know i've already had lots....u dnt scare me js cz u dnt think my way!!!...so there!!!........

Justice is served?

Jessica Lall has become a household name in India today. Her name never fails to make atleast a hundred appearances on tv and newspapers in a day. Though she may not be with us today, she has become the champion of the battle against the injustice that is present in the Indian Judicial system, whether she wanted to or not. She has become immortal in more ways than one. Before this post becomes an ode to this “nightingale”, for those of you who don’t have a clue as to what im talking about, please visit this page to learn more about the case.
The nation has awoken after this incident, and Lady Justice it seems has her blindfold lying at her feet. Media has now become the decider of right and wrong. Even if Manu was innocent, which quite obviously he wasn’t, the media has already convinced every Indian that he did indeed murder Jessica Lall in cold blood. Ram Jethmalani, the criminal lawyer fighting for Manu Sharma, was nothing short of stripped into his underpants, by CNN-IBN’s Karan Thapar. Karan may not have really had any of the answers he would have liked to have, but through his undying arrogance, he surely would have made a lasting impact on Jathmalani’s conscience, however small it may be. Jethmalani though was a worthy opponent, enjoyable viewing pleasure for all us Indians.
The point is Karan Thapar never asked him whether Manu Sharma was innocent or not, but simply asked him if he was not ashamed of spoiling the name of an innocent and now dead human being. Decision made, punishment given. In the eyes of the public, Manu Sharma has been locked in jail with the keys safely deposited in Karan Thapar’s pocket.
The media it seems has just transferred the Indian judicial system into our hands.... The final outcome, we’ll just have to wait and see.

A Tribute to a Sister and a Friend

On July 4th, 2006, i lost a sister. I lost someone whos unconditional love used to envelope me everytime i entered her house. Love in this case would be an understatement. The first time i met Lulu in my uncles estate in Trivandrum, i met more than a dog... i met a ball of infinite love and energy, i met an angel as my sister perfectly put it. Writing anymore would just make me feel worse, so i have a small request... Visit my sisters blog Mystic Altar and read on about what Lulu meant to all of us, and spare a moment of silence for her...
Incubus - Light Grenades

First of all, id like to apologise for the delay in posting. Been really busy with college, exams and the usual... had a couple of major problems too. Id rather not delve on the realms on the past, so lets break in the new with a brand new album from Incubus! For all you unenlightened minds out there Incubus is one of the bands that forms my all-time favourite trio of rock bands, the other two being Metallica (forever!!) and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Incubus have released a single entitled "Anna-Molly" from their soon-to-be-released album "Light Grenades". And judging from the resonating echoes of Brandon Boyds vocals, and the look on rock-lovers faces after listening to the single, i think all you Incubus fans out there have a lot to rejoice about. The single does not feature a complete makeover like "Megalomaniac", but instead sees the band goin back to their "Morning View" roots, with the music that Incubus became famous for. The album releases later this month... cheers till then and keep that head banging...
UPDATE
The album has been released and can be downloaded at http://www.litenfast.com/file/2636/Incubus-Light_Grenades-(Retail)-2006-newestmp3s.zip.html
I do no take any responsibility for the above link. It has been solely placed for a trial listening of the album, so do not keep it on your system for more than 2 weeks If you like the album please buy it.

The Path to Hell : PROLOGUE
WARNING: The author of this story was in a dangerous and hallucinatory mood when he wrote it. But it is also very closely bonded to the past, present and future of his life. So please bear with him, and we take no responsibility for the effects it may have on you. The author is not a non-believer of God, or a Devil worshipper, neither is he a part of any secret cults or religious factions. Anything written in this post should not be taken seriously or literally, it has no bearings or truth in it. This story, should be read with an open mind. Any sentiments that have been hurt is regretted.
What the hell? Go to hell.... See you in hell, baby..... Everyone seems to be damning everyone else to hell these days. Why? Because hell is the most freakish and nightmarish place we can relate to? Because hell is a place where you will be left to an eternity of torture and anguish? No, its because hell has been reduced to a household name.
Hell, according to many religious beliefs, is a place or a state of pain and suffering. According to many religions, the afterlife affords evildoers to suffer eternally. In some monotheistic doctrines, Hell is often populated by demons who torment the damned. The fallen angel Lucifer in Christian theology, otherwise known as Satan, is commonly portrayed in popular culture as the ruler of Hell. Others portray Hell as the final resting place of the Devil, prepared as his punishment by God Himself. Hell is also defined as an utter absence of God or redemptive force. Purgatory, as believed by Catholicism, is another place of torment for sinners who have ultimately achieved salvation but have not paid penance for the sins they have committed in their previous lives. Hell on the contrary is commonly believed to be for eternity with no chance of redemption or salvation for those who suffer there. Christian faith teaches it is a domain of boundless dimension, scope, and torment. Many monotheistic religions regard Hell as the absolute ultimate worst-case-scenario. For some hell is none other than this present life on earth.
Noone has seen hell, or atleast noone has come back to tell us about it, so we do not know what it is, where it is, or if it exists at all. Up until now....
I have spent 17 years of my life in heaven, a heaven that is now only a distant glimmering star that mocks my fate. I lived for the moment, frolicked in the sand, smelt the roses, made out with girls and boozed hard. My life was made, every stitch and lining had been perfected, that was until i met the Devil himself.

One for All, All for One
I just visited the one.org website and signed the "one" declaration. Started wearing the white band too, its the least i could do. As long as im still on my parents payroll, i couldnt buy myself a cigarette let alone donate money to charity. Spreading awareness could save millions of lives and help raise the voice against poverty. So take a stand now and sign the ONE declaration, its just a matter of 5 minutes and expending a little muscular energy from your pudgy little fingers.....

Zidane, the Brazil slayer

JUSTICE, to a legend, and a team.
To defeat Brazil at the World Cup requires many qualities. Heart. Determination. Organisation. Application. But more than anything, it requires class.
Zinedine Zidane always has had class. A World Footballer of the Year. A World Cup winner. By many measures, he is the player of a generation. A rare, almost unique, combination of skill, of stamina, and of strength. But time stands still for no man.
Throughout a disappointing season for Real Madrid, there were whispers, and stares. The great "Zizou" was no longer the player he was. Age had caught up with him. At the end of the Spanish season, Zidane announced his retirement. But he saved the best until last. He would not be retiring until after the World Cup. His nation needed him. And, it appears, he needed his country.
France began the tournament slowly. But once it got going, it purred. As Zidane worked his way through the gears, "Les Bleus" gathered momentum. By the time the past two world champions met at the Waldstadion, it was hard to pick a winner. Two teams of almost equal ability. Two teams which, judging by the smiles and handshakes before the first whistle, had plenty of respect for each other. Two teams that each possessed a rare talent — Zidane and Ronaldinho. The master and the apprentice.
The master, who turned 34 last week, turned in a master class. Ronaldinho was never in the hunt. Zidane, almost single-handedly, steered France into the semi-finals. Brazil is out. Not since 1990 has the "Selecao" left the tournament so early. Tears will flow, from Frankfurt to Florianopolis, for this is a nation that lives and breathes the game. But there can be no complaints.
Brazil was beaten by the better team, on a night dominated, adorned and decided by one man. The 48,000 fans lucky enough to be inside the stadium will surely never forget it. The day they got to see the magic that is Zidane.
Nirvana and Booze?
Like to party all night long, get high and make out with the girl of your dreams? Well, this definitely isnt the place for you. This is where the adrenaline stops and the worries of your life swoop down and fill the void around you, enveloping you in the painful darkness of reality. So get ready to reflect and lament about all the crap you've done in your life so far over a couple of shots of takila. Calm your soul, insulate your mind and get stoned....
